Voss Bobber 501: Keeping our Riders in Style

We've carved out a little niche for ourselves for people that really don't want to look like a bobble head when they ride. Imagine that! 

Our Bobber 501 from our Built Lite series features a lightweight low profile shell, and built with hand laid fiberglass materials. This helmet weighs in at under 2 lbs (1.8 lbs to be specific), so it's even lighter than some half helmets that are out there. But again, we're using fiberglass, so you can still expect this helmet to fully protect. 

So how did we do it? It's all about the shape, baby. There is very little we can do with the regulations set by the DOT, but we've found that just by manipulating the shape of the helmet - bit by bit - you can acheive a great looking helmet that fits almost everybody. By making the top just a tad flatter, we were able to bring that helmet down lower to the brows giving a bit more of an aggressive shape. This reshaping obviously making you look less like a caricature and more like the "cool" rider you always imagined you could be. :-)
