Candy calavera skulls, marigold flower designs and race cars inspired checkering work together to juxtapose the sweetness of life and the fragility of the ride. Drawn from Latin cultural cues to deliver a new experience this Voss 989 Moto-V beckons its rider to take the reigns and become the ‘Overlord’
This new shell design features a Max Vision airtight face shield for riders that like to go fast and keep it quiet. Feel the face shield lock tight in place before you ride, securing you a smooth ride. With a triangular-shaped ridge aerodynamically located on the top of the face shield, the helmet has to do less work to break up the wind and prevent it from working against you. The face shield also has multiple opening positions to increase or restrict the main eye-port airway. The 989 Moto-V is pinlock prepared.
The shell is fabricated with a lightweight advanced polycarbonate material for a high strength DOT safety rating. The interior is lined with our removable, hand washable, DryTech liner offering comfort as well as security.

Comfortable and artsy
I’m super excited about this helmet and can’t wait for the summer to use it. Stores in the area did not hold Voss helmets and I was scared to order online but sizing went seamlessly. It fits great and is soft and comfy! Vents are easily accessible, love the quick chin strap and that internal sunvisor. I broke the clear visor on my first try removing it as I was watching the wrong model video but I will order another one. Got the chrome shield and it looks awesome. I would have wanted one of those rainbowy ones from the pictures but it didnt seem to be availible. I’ll keep an eye out! Absolutely love the helmet and its fun design! Not too too girly but colorful enough!
Helmet is put together with quality. Visor is a little annoying to install but not to bad. Overall great helmet
Helmet? Awesome? Additional Faceshield? Junk.
You can tell when you first put on this helmet that is it very well made with good craftsmanship and the additional drop down sun visor is a great touch. But the visor tint on the additional face shield I bought is absolute ****. I had my Bell Helmet with a tinted visor for 3 years and not one scratch. Take this one out for a ride about 3-4th time got a scratch in the tint middle of my vision probably wiping a bug off with my glove (which I’ve done numerous times with my bell and it’s been just fine). I understand nothing stays perfect forever but that’s just insane…
